It would be cool to have a live chat feature we could embed on client's sites that integrated with the conversation tab. Something like https://www.livechatinc.com/ or comparable tools.

The current livechat implementation has not way to take the contact info before they message so it adds the chat as an anonymous visitor. Please give us a setting to require contact up in the initial message.

Support Team: Yes! "Guest" is not helpful. I deliberately gave my name in the initial message of this test and provided email & phone when requested. The CRM did not update/merge.

ATTENTION: GHL WIZARD REQUEST
Right now if you change the Chat Type from SMS to LIVE, the "code" that needs to be embedded on your website CHANGES. Therefore you cannot switch between sms and live without logging into your website backend and changing the code every time which is not practical.
THE DREAM... If the code was written so you didn't need to change it to switch back and forth from SMS to LIVE, then my customers could easily activate LIVE chat during business hours when someone is at the front desk, then change it back to SMS chat when they're closed or when they walk away from their desk.
PLEASE make the SMS and LIVE chat "code" interchangeable. I know someone at GHL is a wizard and can make this happen. This would be HUGE for our entire community and a game changer for all our B2C customers.
