The video loops silently in the background (either full-length or a short clip) with a large, pulsating PLAY button overlaid in the middle. Only upon clicking does the video reset and play with audio enabled.
This is a marketing staple. Right now, users have to manually create GIFs or settle for static thumbnails, which hurts conversion rates.
Manually setting this up is tedious; it would be far more efficient to have a dedicated setting in the video options to automate this behavior.
