Email confirmation/validation on the order form

10% of our customers have entered a typo on their email address when ordering, then complain that they haven't received the email.
We desperately need an email confirmation field for the one-step-order form!

Wrongly entered customer email addresses are a common occurrence for us as well. Because most of our customers come from cold ad traffic they don't have much experience with us and usually default to complaints and threats to cancel orders when they don't get the welcome email, all because we have no way to validate their email address before they hit the Submit Order button. This constant issue would be so easy to eliminate with an email confirmation option on the order form.

Consequences of this:
1. Customer Complaints: Frequent email typos (e.g., “@gmaill.com”) result in missed order confirmations and delivery emails.
2. Support Overload: Increased support volume from correcting email mistakes.
3. Lost Sales: Invalid emails lead to failed product delivery → Refund/disputes.
4. Delays: Manual follow-up required for incorrect emails delays product/service delivery.
Easy fix = add email confirmation field.

Still getting several users typing emails with e.g. @gmail.con and complaining they can't log in. Please can we prioritise this!

I'd like to see the option for an email confirmation on both the 1-step AND 2-step order form, because people mistyping their emails (e.g. dexx@gmaail.com or dexx@ocloud.com etc) is a very common issue
