Automatically Display "Open" or "Closed" Sales Funnel Offers Based On Status

Lots of people use an "open enrollment" method of launching products and onboarding clients, and revert those same offers to a "waiting list" status when they're at capacity. This is not just a good idea; it's proper stewardship of limited fulfillment capacity.
I want to do exactly that, but HighLevel will not allow me to do so because their sales funnels have no way to automatically or dynamically show one page or another based on whether the offer is "open" or "closed." It has to be done manually, and that is a problem.
Here's my "real world" use case to help explain what I'm asking for:
I am launching an incredible product+service line based on a series of cohorts as a Pilot Program for super-niched prospects. Those who participate in this program will pay "wholesale" (deeply discounted) pricing because I'm offering it to build up awesome case studies, get rock-solid proof of concept, and validate my offer at a very low-risk price point that's still profitable for us.
I don't have a team big enough to handle more than a few of these new customers at a time, so I MUST limit the number of available seats for sale to 12. It's first-come-first-served, and when they're all sold the entire program is turned off forever, never to be sold at that price again.
Right now I have to use workflows to basically "count down" from the 12 (none sold) to zero (all sold), then MANUALLY hide/disable the first funnel step/page and replace it with a "waiting list" page instead.
If my whole sales play is "real" (ethical) scarcity of ABSOLUTELY NO MORE THAN 12 are available, but we get a decent amount of traffic to the funnel, then there's no physical way possible to prevent myself from over-selling this thing. Of course there are probably workaround, but I'd rather just have the system work in a professional-grade manner instead of having to bend over backwards trying to jerry-rig it to suit my use case.
I hope this makes sense, and I pray to God that this suggestion gets seen and gets a LOT of up-votes so GHL will build the feature.
