This is essential. We need to be able to easily add alt text to images for SEO purposes.

I have to clarify here... ALT text for SVG image files we use. For those I have not seen the possibility of specifying alt text

Onno Vrijburg: It is possible on the image block directly. You have the option to precise the height, width and alt text for it. But no Title tag or right naming for the file yet. But I can't see any possibility to do it when you add an image in a column for example, only with the image block.
