Allow Show/Hide Element or Section based on Video Progress

It would be nice if the video element could show/hide other elements at specific watch point (percent or whatever). Like the timer element does. So after X% of watch, a button shows, for example or a checkout form

The ability to stop people seeing content or accessing a link or button, until a certain percentage (customizable) of the video on the page has been played. For example to make sure people watch the whole video before proceeding through funnel steps.

I've built custom code for this, but always run into issues on iOS devices. Would be super nice to have this native. Could be an extension of the show form at certain time to collect leads. Similar option to show / hide specific elements. GHL already has all the tech components to do this when we look at the show form at time option and the show element options within a timer. Just need to have those functions available for the video watch time.

Yes, If 90% of a video is watched, then “Show” a Button in the funnel to go to “Next Step” in the funnel.

Please add this. Hide/Show elements based on watch time for all types of videos (Youtube, Hosted etc.) It should take into consideration pausing and rewinding.

I see a similar option with clickfunnel, but it work with a timer instead of a video percent... way easier and more flexible to set up

Yes, what if the viewer pauses the video? The timer should pause too and the element would appear at the right time!

This can be done with the timer element in funnels

As this feature is not released yet you can use 3rd party code to do this . Check FunnelCare for this code that will allow you to show hide page elements based on actual video playing time Jordan Tackman

This will allow us to show a checkout section/button after they reach 80% watched

Robert Diaz: This. That's one of the use-case scenarios I had in mind.
