Need an option for local stores so that customers can select "Free Pickup" or "Pickup In Store". Then no shipping fee will be attached and we can trigger a notification to the store that an order was placed for pickup.

Is there an App or Integration for Online Restaurant Ordering Without Delivery for customer pick up.?
S
Steve Plasencia
I’m reaching out to ask for your insights and expertise. I’m looking for an app or integration that allows restaurants to set up online ordering specifically for in-person pickup—no delivery involved.
Here’s what I’m envisioning:
• Customers can browse the menu online.
• Place their order and pay securely through the app or website.
• Pick up their order at the restaurant at their convenience.
This setup would streamline operations and provide a modern ordering experience for customers who prefer the ease of online ordering but want to pick up their food directly.
My Question to You
Is there an app or system out there that caters specifically to this need? Ideally, I’m looking for something that:
1. Integrates smoothly with existing restaurant systems.
2. Focuses on pickup orders only, without the added complexity of delivery.
3. Is user-friendly for both customers and staff.
Why This Matters
Not every restaurant has the capacity or need to manage delivery, but the demand for online ordering continues to grow. I believe a tool like this could help restaurants bridge the gap, improve customer experience, and boost efficiency.
Let’s Brainstorm Together
• Have you come across or used a platform that offers this functionality?
• What tools do you recommend for this type of setup?
• If you’ve implemented something similar, how has it worked for you?
I’d love to hear your suggestions, experiences, or any advice you might have. Let’s collaborate to find or create the perfect solution for restaurants that want to offer online ordering for pickup only.
Looking forward to your ideas and input!
Drop your thoughts in the comments below or message me directly. Thanks in advance for your help!

Is There an App or API Integration for Online Restaurant Ordering Without Delivery Exist?
S
Steve Plasencia
I’m reaching out for insights and suggestions from those of you familiar with the best tools for online restaurant ordering. I’m specifically looking for a solution that allows online ordering for in-person pickup only—no delivery involved.
Here’s what I have in mind:
• Customers can browse the menu online.
• Place their order and pay securely through the app or website.
• Pick up their order at the restaurant.
My Questions to You
1. Are there apps or systems that support this kind of setup?
2. Does an API exist that could connect to an app like GloriaFoods or similar platforms to offer seamless online ordering for pickup?
3. Have you tried any specific tools that integrate well with existing restaurant management systems?
Why This Matters
Not all restaurants want or need delivery services, but the demand for convenient online ordering is growing. A system focused on pickup-only orders could simplify operations, reduce costs, and still deliver a modern experience for customers.
Let’s Collaborate!
• If you’ve implemented a similar solution, how did it work for your business?
• What apps, APIs, or integrations would you recommend for this use case?
• If you’re using something like GloriaFoods or another app, have you found ways to tailor it for pickup orders only?
I’d love to hear your thoughts, experiences, or recommendations. Let’s come together as a community to explore the best options for restaurants looking to modernize their ordering systems.
Looking forward to your suggestions and ideas—thank you in advance!

Would be nice an option of "Delivery to Table". Mc Donalds an lots of others are using this option. For clients who make the order inside the store.
You select that option and input the number of your table. Waiter takes it to your table.

I would also like to see Local Delivery as an option. I'm starting my agency based on my own business needs and plan to offer to my same market.. We offer Free Delivery within xx miles, and have a per mile fee after that.. I understand this would take a lot more development to implement as far as calculating mileage, but local pickup in its self will be nice to have.

Can the pickup option be integrated with a mandatory QR code from GHL that customers must present for picking up their items?

There are a few things here that must work dynamically for this to truly be useful - happy if others chime in too, but I think this would do it:
- customer selects pick up or shipping
- if customer selects shipping, cash on delivery must disappear due to Print-on-Demand tools/application of the sale (CSS won't hide it), if they select pickup, they should be able to pay with cash on delivery OR digital payment
- a HUGE bonus would be an 'events' type of product (within the products drop-down or standalone as a new top-menu bar item) that produces a unique QR code that is placed within the receipt emailed out to the customer when purchased. This QR code should be able to be scanned and confirmed as unique and unscanned by the GHL account user or return other messages, e.g. QR confirmed but already scanned, QR not eligible, etc... it needs to be fast too - we don't have time to look through contacts or form entries to find details.
I'm happy to talk with GHL folks about this too! (Hi Shivam)
