While it's great to be able to have contracts, there are also those of us who do not use that feature and would like to just have a plain old document feature where we can merge customer fields.
The case use that I have is that I want to send people a personalized report based on a quiz/form/survey, etc. I want to automatically create the personalzed document, be able to have it automatically saved as a PDF, and then have it sent off to the lead. No contract signatures/ travking required. This is great for personalization and nurturing a contact lead.
I talked to support about this & they said we couldn't de-activate the required signature features because they wouldnt be able to meet the requirements for contract signing. So can we have a separate feature called Documents that doesnt have the signatures, and another called Contracts?
