The final button that completes a signed document is hardcoded as "Finish" and can't be changed.
For anyone selling to consumers in the EU/EEA, this breaks the "button rule" in the Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU, Art. 8(2). The button that places a paid order must say "order with obligation to pay" or something equally unambiguous. If it doesn't, the consumer is not bound by the contract. The EU Court confirmed in C-249/21 (Fuhrmann-2) that only the words on the button count, not the text around it.
In practice, agencies with EU/EEA clients can't safely use Documents & Contracts for consumer proposals and quotes today.
Requested:
👉🏼 Editable label for the final "Finish" button, per template or per sub-account, in any language
👉🏼 The same option for other acceptance steps for paid offers (e.g. Estimates)
👉🏼 Editable completion pop-up text
This is a small change, but it matters a lot for every agency serving EU/EEA markets.
