Custom Value in Document Names

Ryan Long
We need the ability to be able to add custom values (such as customer name) in the name of document/contract when creating from an automation!
Currently custom values do not work!

This must go in, please! Almost every client requests it and it causes a big manual headache...

Dynamic Contract Naming from Template

It would be great to be able to add dynamic fields into the name of contract templates so that way when a contract is generated off a template the name updates automatically. It would be great to automatically have clients business name etc. in the title of our contracts.

It is shocking this hasn't been implemented yet. All the new amazing features continuing to be released and the basic functionality of this has been asked for almost a year. This is probably 1-2 hours for someone to go make happen.

Bumping this since this seems to be like a must have feature for document automation. I was shocked when I learned this didnt exist since it pretty much makes the whole document automation procedure obsolete.

Bumping this, would be enormously useful feature

This seems like a basic feature that they missed. Every document in our document list has the same exact name. We need a "Document Name" field in the workflow action sending the document to allow us to customize the name and also use custom fields in it.

You can do this via Custom Values, no? Custom Values in top right of document creation --> Contact -> Customer Name

Seneca Cost Segregation Admin No, there is no option to change the name of the document when it is being sent via workflow.

Yes, we cannot auto-create documents like a Service Agreement because we can't customize the name. Would be very useful! Also would like to customize the signing order at the template level.

Yes, this is a must-have! Really surprised it can't be done.
