Hi Bob! Thanks for reaching out.
Once your Whitelabel Desktop App is built, you can still edit almost everything in the customizer, including the theme, background, text and button colors. Just save your changes and they'll automatically appear in the desktop app your sub-accounts are already using. No reinstall is needed.
The two exceptions are the app name and app icon. Here's why: when you click "Build app," we create the actual installer file for your desktop app. The app name and icon are built into that file, because your computer's operating system uses them for the Applications folder, Dock/Taskbar, and installer. After someone installs the app, those details can't be changed remotely.
If you'd like to change the app name or icon:
- Reset the current build.
- Update the app name and/or icon in the customizer.
- Click "Build app" to generate a new version.
- Share the new download link with your sub-accounts so they can install the updated app.
