Reorder Side Bar including Custom Objects

Since Custom Objects get put into the main navigation Side Bar when created, we need the ability to rearrange and customize the Side Bar in totality.
It's nice being able to customize/reorder Custom Menu Links, a feature that was just added.
But now we need the ability to do this for every Side Bar menu item. We should be able to customize the display name, the icon, and rearrange the order of each Side Bar item, including the new Custom Objects.

Having the ability to customise the side bar menu icons, names and ordering would be amazing. I am in an iundustry that specific terms and known icons for particular menu items and would like to be able to stay inline with them as we roll out our Swas.

Agreed. Would be super helpful if we could customize/re-order the Side Bar menu, including standard links, custom menu links, and now these custom objects.
