Custom Object Fields available in Forms

Allow Custom Object fields to work in forms so that we can have more options for creating/updating Custom Objects.
For example, using a Chamber of Commerce: Having a member Custom Object with fields for organization information, membership level, renewal date, etc. This would allow us to build forms for the members to update certain points of information about their organization as they change that would be used in a public-facing member roster (that gets populated by the Custom Object list once automations are in place). This would also allow Chamber staff to manually update renewal and status information.

Literally came here to research this. This is a must have to make custom objects useable. Check out "Podio" by Citrix. This is kind of the same thing I think the GHL guys are looking for when it comes to how custom objects work best. We for sure need this

This needs to be implemented ASAP. Current state of custom objects is dire. Essentially a DOA update.

Custom Objects are a promising feature, but they currently lack critical usability. For example, in the real estate industry, I would love to create a Custom Object for "Properties" with Custom Fields specific to each property. However, these fields are not practically usable in workflows, forms or automations.
To unlock the full potential of Custom Objects, it’s essential to enable Custom Fields within Custom Objects functional and accessible independently of the contact, so workflows, reports, forms, Opportunities, contracts and automations can use them effectively.
Without this enhancement, Custom Objects are underutilized and fail to meet the needs of industries like real estate, where managing multiple assets per contact is common.

This is absolutely necessary to make Custom Objects usable! Right now its a cute feature, but for most industries it's not that usable...

Would love to see this as an addition. One example use case would be to allow a form drop down field values to populate from custom object records. If a Where clause criteria could be added that would be a huge bonus so it would only populate based upon the object records that meet that where clause.

This would be a game changer for me.

Place Custom Objects in Forms

Allow custom objects to be accessed within forms and place the value from the object into the form. So that it can be updated on form submission. But you would need a way to associate the value to a specific custom object.
