Custom Object Fields available in Forms

Allow Custom Object fields to work in forms so that we can have more options for creating/updating Custom Objects.
For example, using a Chamber of Commerce: Having a member Custom Object with fields for organization information, membership level, renewal date, etc. This would allow us to build forms for the members to update certain points of information about their organization as they change that would be used in a public-facing member roster (that gets populated by the Custom Object list once automations are in place). This would also allow Chamber staff to manually update renewal and status information.

At the moment, in the forms we can only add custom fields related to the "Contacts" and "Opportunities" objects, it would be great to be able to add custom fields that correspond to the "Company" objects and other "Custom Objects".

Lets say you have a form to request t-shirts for family members. Each set of data includes a shirt size and any design selection that they want. With the current set of forms/surveys we would have to build a large amount of placeholder fields to accept this data. Ideally we can select a custom object that houses the t-shirt data. The form then fills in this data.

Pallavi Kothari How can I add Total Spent column in smartlists and filter or sort by it, so I can see at glance which client spends the most? I can't figure that out.

So glad to see this just shifted to "In Progress" as of Sept 25, 2025.
This is truly needed and I don't understand how ANY (custom) input created, cannot be added to a form.
How do you expect our users to update these values? If GHL is intended to be the backend of our tools, anything and everything should be able to be fed via a form.
Love to see this in progress and looking forward to seeing it shipped soon.

Sales & Marketing These are essential to a functional Custom Object (and Company object) feature. Without them the feature is a false promise.

The fact that this feature is not sorted out yet is absolutely absurd. So much of custom objects becomes obsolete without the ability to link it in areas such as forms. Its been almost a year, not sure why this hasn't been implemented yet
