This is key for us and our SaaS users.

Much needed. Companies and objects should not only exist within opportunity cards, but also be placed under the associations tab and pop up for contacts, opportunities, etc...

As stated before:

Right now we can only associate Custom Objects with Contacts. We need to be able to associate them with Opportunities as well.

Use Case:

Custom Object: Properties

Contact A owns several properties. They are all associated to the contact via the Properties Custom Object. But all properties might not be a part of the single Opportunity, we want to know specifically which property(s) the Opportunity is for. We want to have only those property details from the custom object pulled through on the Opportunity card.

To connect / link a opportunity and custom object we would need an restructure in how Opportunities works.

100%. Make object act just like contacts. Opportunities, smart lists, Canban views, all automation functionality, etc.
