👉 Increase Data Retention (Workflows, Audit Logs) 📊💾

I would like to see if we can get at least 3 months of logs in the workflows, audit logs, activity timeline, quiz/form/survey submissions, web logs, etc. since we have recurring bookings sometimes and there's a lot of customer activity.
It is difficult to troubleshoot errors, booking failures without accessing logs beyond a month.
For an issue that came out a few days ago, we needed workflow logs for October the 18th and they were only available from November the 16th (i.e. the last 30 days). Some customers book their workshops well in advance, not just less than a month, and it's important that we have the required info to understand what happened back then and troubleshoot issues along their journey to provide a better service.

We need to evaluate the possibility of extending the retention time of records within the GHL, including workflow data, audit logs, activity history, form/survey submissions, and navigation logs.
Today, the current period ends up being insufficient for our operation. In many cases, we deal with recurring processes and longer customer journeys, making it difficult to analyze and correct problems when we don't have access to a more complete history.
We have faced situations where it was necessary to investigate a recent error, but the available records did not cover the necessary period, limiting the analysis and making it difficult to identify the root cause. As some clients perform actions significantly in advance, it is essential to be able to access data from previous months to understand the full context.
To ensure a more accurate analysis, improve problem resolution and maintain the quality of service throughout the customer journey, the ideal would be to work with a retention period between 6 months and 1 year. This would give us the necessary visibility to follow longer cycles and make decisions more safely.

Dear Team,
We would like to better understand the platform’s data retention policy, especially regarding the storage of interaction history, activities, and operational records used for analysis and decision-making.
We have identified that certain data (such as communication logs, activities, and historical records) appear to be available for a limited period, approximately around 60 days. This limitation directly impacts our ability to perform historical analysis, track performance over time, and generate strategic insights—particularly for mid- to long-term marketing and sales operations.
When comparing with other platforms in the market, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and Mailchimp, we observe that these solutions typically allow data retention for significantly longer periods (in many cases, indefinitely or configurable), enabling more robust analysis of key metrics such as sales cycle, LTV, CAC, and campaign performance over time.
With that in mind, we would like clarification on the following:
- What is the current data retention policy (by data type)?
- Is there any possibility to extend the data retention period?
- Are there any plans, features, or upgrades that allow longer-term data storage?
- Does the platform provide recommended alternatives for continuous data export or external storage?
Our goal is to ensure a reliable data infrastructure to support strategic decision-making and scalable growth.
