Ability to organize and manage custom fields for contacts, forms, & surveysWhen you're creating forms, or surveys, give us the ability to manage them either on the form/survey level and take them out of custom fields under the additional info inside of the contact.More flexibility and grouping/categories under Contact's Additional Info for fields. Something similar to folders that are already rolled out for triggers, and campaigns

We also need the ability to sort custom fields. For example, in the opportunities view, if you have custom date fields for delivery or contract signed, you can see those custom fields in the view, but they are not sortable like the stage or status columns. Since ‘Created On’ or ‘Updated On’ columns are sortable date columns, I imagine this would not be difficult to implement.

Grouping for Custom Fields

ActiveCampaign just added this:
the ability to create a Custom-Field-Group, and then add Custom Fields to it
along with the ability to expand/collapse the group listings
for people who use custom fields extensively this would make things more orderly

they ability to rearrange these custom fields at both the sub account and the contact level would be very useful. drag and drop!

Also please let us rearrange the order in which they show up on the sidebar. Sometimes we add customer fields but then forget or add them in the wrong order and then things are all over the place.

Instead of having everything under Contact or Opportunity, maybe we can have a group for Forms and Surveys so they don’t clutter up the contact’s fields, but have the ability to view the form or survey which the contact completed as a separate option.

I agree with this. It would allow a team to create all their fields in bulk and then organize them appropriately later... Or move fields on the fly from one category folder to another as the client evolves, scales, etc.

With the advent of integration and Zapier commands to be easily updated to a client through a snapshot. Custom fields are the go to solution in the Zap. If I can put them in a folder for the client they can customize or personalize the zap without breaking it.

I'm not sure if our ideas are the same, but I wanted to put this here...to see if we are thinking the same thing: https://ideas.gohighlevel.com/crm/p/i-need-to-capability-to-group-and-associate-custom-fields-into-a-table-view-or-l
