Select a publish date in the past for blog posts

I want to import (copy/paste) blog posts from our old wordpress site into a HL blog - and I want the publish date to reflect the original date, not the date it was imported.
Currently I cannot edit or choose the publish date to make it in the past. I want to be able to select any date and have it show as the publish date (and would also order the posts accordingly)

Agreed. I have many clients who would like to migrate blogs, especially once being used to publish podcast episodes.
