We are often asked by clients why there are not the "elements" available when editing blog posts like they are in Websites and Funnels.
In WordPress, all content is the same editor, same commands, etc. so for example, if you use Elementor, you can use Elementor Elements for design in ANY content on the website, pages, posts, custom post types, etc. The post "type" does not matter.
In the native GHL website builder and funnel builder, there is an "Elements" menu. One of the items you can use is "Photo Gallery" which makes it easy to add a block of multiple images to any page.
However when in the Blog editor, the entire editing process changes and most of the "Elements" (or similar functions) are not available, providing a much less usable editor.
Why is it like this? It is like two totally different entire CMS systems that don't work the same. It is weird.
Why not have the same Elements available for blog posts as site pages? Blogs are suppose to be one of the biggest conversion points for organic traffic. Why not be able to add galleries, buttons, pop-ups, etc. to Blog posts and Blog Categories?
We would like to be able to have Photo Galleries and other "site" content in our blogs, the primary one being image Galleries, buttons, pop-ups, forms, etc.
Imagine being a photographer and trying to use the GHL Blog editor and only being able to post a single image at a time to a blog post, requiring a ton of work to add 10-15 images to a single post.
It is not very user friendly and the website and funnel editor seem like totally different systems than the blog editor. The edit pages are completely different.
