Customize blog template

Instead of having the blogs show up with a very plain and basic Image > Title > Content layout, it would be nice to be able to custom design a layout that blogs will use. This way, we can add other sections, forms, ads, promotions, etc.

Sales & Marketing another plug here - we need Universal Sections available for us within Blogs. This allows for true continuity of look and navigation for header and footer, so it's a seamless transition from blog to website to funnels. thanks!

Blog customization

- Allow the full blog to be used in funnel pages, not just the small element available now
- Allow more customization of the blog site and blot post structure
For example:
The current blog post structure is header image first and then title, it doesn't look good. You should be able to have the header image below the title, or turn it off all together.

Improve Blog Customization [MUST READ]

Hey HighLevel Team,
First off, I’ve got to say that I love how powerful the platform has become overall. But I’m honestly surprised that the blogging experience still feels extremely limited, especially compared to the rest of the system.
Right now, the blog pages don’t allow any customization for headers, footers, side columns, or global sections, which makes the blog feel disconnected from the rest of the website. For a platform as advanced as HighLevel, this limitation makes the blog experience feel outdated, even less flexible than Blogger.com back in 2004.
The current setup forces every blog post to look isolated, breaking brand consistency and user experience. For businesses trying to use their blog to build authority, this is a major drawback.
Here’s what would make a huge difference:
Allow the use of global header and footer sections within blog posts and blog lists.
Allow the use of custom fields and Custom Values inside blog posts for dynamic, personalized content.
Provide layout options or blog templates that match the site theme (so design stays consistent).
Enable custom sections (hero, author box, related posts, etc.) so blogs feel part of the brand.
Optional: Add SEO and Open Graph customization fields directly inside the blog editor.
Adding even some of these features would make the blog experience 10x better and truly aligned with the professional standard of the rest of HighLevel.
Thanks for taking this into consideration. It’s a small (big :) ) improvement that would make a huge difference for agencies building branded, content-driven websites on HighLevel.
Best,
Daniel Vargas

Blog and post templates, and featured post embeds

Currently a blog element is just inserted into a page, and single posts have to follow that same layout.
Would be good to have distinct templates for the blog versus single posts, i.e. single posts are completely separate to the blog page.
Additionally, the ability to insert a featured/latest posts snippet into pages would be good - currently this cannot be done because it loads the blog in the middle of the other content of that page.

Custom Values for Blogs

We want to design a template and a custom way the way the blog shows. With a featured image, the title, the author, sidebard, etc.
We could of done that if there were custom values for [Featured-blog-image], [blogtitle], etc.

yes, we need to be able to use the Global Sections in blogs, such as for header and footers! These are already built and in the same system, so it seems like it would a light weight lift to get these into Blogs!

SOLUTION - go to the edit blog theme - then in the centre click blog home and on the left change to blog post and add your universal header and footer - now it parses header and footer for you! its not intuitive so we all missed it - happy new year all!

Yes, the Post Template is very limited.
It does not even seem to have CSS as the last workaround (not preferred).
It needs to be more like the page builder, with all the elements for design.
The images look blury and streched.blurry stretched.
