We could really use a Create Appointment Workflow Action (James Hurst)

Being able to book the appointment via work flows from Custom field data to fill in all of the event descriptions, locations, confirmation ect. would be great! It would take an entire huge step out of the process and allow for easy appointment booking from pipeline stage changes on the mobile app. right now I have to keep two windows open on my computer to transfer all the info from the contact custom fields to the appointment while booking it.

Here is another scenario. I have a clothing store that sends items out to be tailored. The tailor can only take 10 clothing items per day. I was hoping to create a calendar for each tailor and everytime an item is entered on a form it would add an appt on that calendar which is set to maximum of 10 per day. Could really use this.

Shawn Moser: Are you now able to do this using the services calendar type?
If not, what limitation are you still having?

This would really be useful for me since I actually only use highlevel as a medium of booking appointments for new clients for my clients.
And since I use a pay per appointment model I am forced to have my clients use the highlevel calendar.
But most of them have their own booking system that they are happy with and don't plan on changing, so with this feature I would be able to use their calendar and still be able to trigger different workflows when a new customer books an appointment.

And please make it so that you can create the appointment through data from an inbound-webhook.

yes please!
for us, this will be helpful for registering contacts to the new "Classes" calendars automatically.
email -> trigger link -> registered -> appointment created.

I think this will be a game changer for improving workflows and converting leads into clients

How do you determine/calculate a date for such an event? Next available time slot on your calendar (or client's)?
I have heard of a similar request about creating tasks on a planning board (in MS Teams).

Alexey Panteleev: several use cases.
for example: you need 2 hours to prep for an appointment, someone books on your calendar for that particular service, the workflow books blocked time on your calendar and creates a task. Now you have protected prep time. You would likely set the automated appointment booking to manual confirm so you have the option to move it to an earlier day.
For event planners that block time might be the entire 2 days prior plus the day after an event.
Or, someone requests {{contact.number}} tickets to an event via SMS. You can use Customer Replied as the Workflow trigger and book {{contact.number}} seats. I bet you could then send a text-to-pay {{contact.number}}X{{customvalue.ticketprice}} so they don't have to pay at the door!
Or - I have a client who books guests overnight. Every attempt I made to have the booking widget allow 24-hour operations resulted in no availability. Work around: I offer booking widget appointments at evening check-in time. And the confirmation SMS tells the customer that although the appointment is for 3 hours check out time is not until the following day. Clearly the front desk staff needs to be there for the check-in. I would like to auto book the morning appointment as well so the day shift knows who will be checking-out.

To clarify: As mentioned in the screenshot from FB by James Hurst, we aren't expecting booking widget logic to select an available slot. We are passing, date, start time, and end time, and contact name based on some other calculation.

Tech Support: are you talking about a Google/Office365 calendar? Where should the appointments be booked?
K
Keith3 Besherse
Alexey Panteleev: no. Or, more precisely, not necessarily. You might have a HL calendar synched to your office calendar. And you should.
But the workflow action would book the appointment on the HL calendar.

Francisco Llave First: stop trying to sell. This forum is about improving HL. I will NOT buy your thing even if it is perfect because you used this forum as an outreach method.
Second: I don't see a link to your suggestion.
