Ability to add contacts to a specific event within a workflow

It would be nice to have the Ability to add contacts to a specific event within a workflow, instead of them having to start from the beginning of the workflow. I have found to need to case in a few scenarios, where a lead was forgotten to be added to the workflow, and then 4 weeks later I realixed he wasnt in the flow, but there is no way to catch him up with the rest of the students. hope this makes sense.

Manually move a contact to a specific step inside a Workflow

Currently, contacts can only progress through workflows step by step or via conditional logic (If/Else, Goals, or re-enrollment). However, there is no way to manually move a contact to a specific step inside an active workflow.
This creates limitations in real-life scenarios where a contact needs to be “fast-tracked” or redirected within the same workflow.
Proposed solution:
Add an option to “Move Contact to Step” within the workflow view or directly from the contact’s profile.
This would allow admins or agents to place a contact exactly at the right point in the workflow without workarounds like tags, custom fields, or duplicating automations.
Benefits:
Simplifies workflow management.
Saves time and avoids messy workarounds.
Gives users more flexibility to handle exceptions or manual adjustments.

Add a contact to any step in a workflow

When manually adding a contact into a workflow we should be able to choose any step in that workflow. For example you may want to skip the first few emails and just drop them into the appropriate email for that account. Reduces clutter and enhances user experience by putting them exactly where they need to be in the flow.

This is a really obvious and needed feature.
I also need to be able to move a contact BACK to an EARLIER step.

Matt Barbey, there are 120K people in the official group on Facebook. 300 votes is tiny. 0.25%?

This would be VERY helpful for nurturing sequences when the sales rep has already been in touch with a contact and so the initial nurturing touch points don't apply. I come across this frequently. High value add for my clients.

I would love this! Some of my nurture workflows are set up by calendar dates. If someone entered the workflow in september, they'd have to go through an entire year of holidays, etc which wouldnt make sense.
I also have event workflows where it would be helpful to add people who didnt sign up via the initial workflow, but they attended and would need subseques followup emails.
There are several use cases for this, and would make my like so much better.
