Here's a specific case we are working on right now:

Client is making an intake form app. He wants the intake form completed, but needs a permanent record so custom fields by themselves are not valuable. He needs a PDF. The app can make a PDF with a temporary link, but since there is no server-side endpoint for something like this, there is no way to take the temporary PDF URL and have the PDF actually uploaded and attached to the contact record. Our workaround has been building an external server-side endpoint and using webhooks and API to get things from Point A to Point B. It'sa bit ridiculous to be able to create something and not really be able to attach it to anything when the framework is already there.
