Currently, any changes to an affiliate campaign will result in the confirmation email being sent to all active affiliates. For example, if you change the cookie duration, all active affiliates will get the "welcome" email again.

We should be able to control whether an email is sent out automatically, preferred would just be to allow us to control it ourselves via Workflows.
