Since Forms and Surveys are already available as sources within the affiliate manager, we’d like to see this functionality expanded to allow tracking of affiliate-driven submissions even when no commission payout is required.
Example Use Case:
An affiliate promotes a free registration form for a webinar. Currently, because no product or payout is tied to the campaign, there’s no way to attribute that submission back to the affiliate. With expanded tracking, we could capture this data and use it for contests, leaderboards, or giveaways rewarding affiliates based on referrals rather than sales.
Why This Matters:
Extends the value of affiliate tracking beyond commission-based campaigns
Supports non-monetary initiatives like free events, surveys, and lead captures
Provides a fair way to credit affiliates for referrals in contests and promotions
This enhancement would make affiliate tracking more versatile and aligned with real-world marketing campaigns that aren’t always tied to transactions.
