Ability to search for a lead and see who the affiliate is

In a buyer's profile you cannot see which affiliate a buyer originated from. There is also no way to search for a lead inside of the affiliate portal. Because there is no cookie across GHL there needs to be a way to know if a buyer came from an affiliate so they may receive credit. With over 500 affiliates, it's impossible for me to check each one's lead list each time we have a new sale. This is causing us to miss commissions on leads that are in a campaign as an affiliate lead but purchased through another link (due to the lack of cookie across the system).

Currently, I have managed a partial workaround for this to extract the Affiliate ID from the Attribution URL in a Workflow, and then add it to a custom field on the lead's contact record.
It's a start, but we really need this to be more fully implemented,
OR at the very least, we need a workflow actions to look up an affiliate based on their ID, so that we can trigger actions on the Affiliate when one of their lead becomes a contact or takes an action other than a sale.
