Automatically add Contact followers as followers to all opportunities for that contact

Right now there is a distinction between being a follower on a contact and an opportunity, this makes pipeline management a nightmare depending on your use of the CRM. Can we please have a simple setting that makes the owner/followers of contacts identical to the owners/followers of any opportunity for that contact.

This is Extremely necessary and I can't stress that enough. Most of the organizations out there uses the owner and a support staff (Aka Followers) to process their Leads, Contracts etc...A Lawyer does not work without a paralegal or an intern, A Dentist does not work without an assistant, a Sales Rep does not work without a Setter, and the list goes on and on. At the moment, as the agency owner, I'm having to manually assign followers to ALL of my client's opportunities otherwise their teams will never be able to see their contacts as it should (Organized into the Opportunity Stages/process) and my life just became a nightmare. I beg you to prioritize this so we can stop the bleeding, already lost 2 clients this week because the system is unable to show their leads in a organized manner. If what Trever Andrews asked at the original post is not possible, I urge you to at least add an Action Step on the Workflows that will allow us to assign Followers to Opportunities. Thank you and look forwards to see a quick solution to this.

TOTALLY agree! This is so time consuming to update 'Contact' and 'Opportunities' with their respective 'owners' and 'followers' and is open to so much user error. To be honest, I raised this with support assuming it was a bug only to be told that it is the intentional design of the system which I can't get my head around at all. GHL is brilliant in many ways but I think you've dropped the ball on this one.
