you should be able to create websites in GHL and export them so they can be hosted in another server, if i create 100 websites for clients, if i stop my subscritpion for nay reason they all will loose their website, you should be able to provide web creation services without having it to be use only GHL server as host.

we need to be able to transfer out the websites created for our clients.
they have paid for the website so if they want the site they need to be able to have the files.

Migrate entire GHL website to another website builder like wordpress.

There is a gap inside the website builder, that we are not able to transfer the website to another website builder like wordpress. This feature is a great addition to the Go High Level that we can transfer the entire website to wordpress or you can say another website builder.

Can't you do this on the SaaS plan? I was of the impression you can.

Would build all my sites in GHL if I could have the assurance of being able to export the site out to Wordpress in the event a client wants to discontinue service.

Team, we need to build this feature ASAP.
We are now hesitant to build a website on GoHighLevel.
Here is why: You work with a client, and usually, clients stay with you for a few months, at most a few years, but not until their business ceases to exist.
When they cancel, they paid you to develop a website, and it's their right to take this asset wherever they wish.
We don't want to build a website on GoHighLevel and then have to build a new website on WordPress whenever they cancel because the capability to export the website doesn't exist.
Can you please help us solve this ASAP?
Thank you so much!

I am confused! Miguel and Ryan seem to be saying opposite things. Miguel, in light of what Ryan said, can you clarify your message to eliminate any confusion.

That's when you use WordPress.
Proprietary website builders don't generally make their sites portable. You can't move a site from Wix to Squarespace, or Squarespace to Weebly, or Weebly to HL, etc.

Don't get me wrong, this would make me feel more comfortable building client websites in HL's native builder, but it doesn't seem worth the amount of effort it would take to develop and maintain this system.
Do they also need to support Wix and Squarespace and Webflow? Just build it in WordPress in the first place?

Ryan Jenkins Agreed. Just build the site initially in whichever website builder you are good to stick with. As much as I could use this feature, HL can essentially do anything the other builders can do and when compared to WP, the gap keeps getting smaller with the features the HL team keeps adding.
