That being said, it would also be great if somehow or other you can actually insert into the JSON payload an indicator of the current date/time etc. Reason being is that some data being sent to a remote system may be time sensitive. That is you need to know the date/time that the web-hook was sent for whatever reason.
Usually a web-hook is received almost immediately by the remote system, in which case you can fairly safely pull the current date/time on the receiving system. But sometimes for whatever reason, the remote system may only process it hours.days later and then the current date/time on the receiving system is not valid.
