Allow Contact's next appointment details to be accessed in other workflows for AT LEAST If/Else Condition

It would be amazing to have the ability to reference the details of a contact's next appointment in other workflows that are not triggered by the appointment being made.
Use case: So many times I've had to manually set custom fields of a contact's upcoming appointment and then use those fields in other workflows. Then if they reschedule, it requires additional steps to ensure that the custom fields are updated with the new appointment date and time.
